I really tried to get into Footballers' Wives on BBC America, because I really and truly love trashy television. But, I just couldn't do it, and I think this part of the reason. British jocks are, apparently, completely whipped!! Granted, American jocks seem to consider domestic violence to be part of their off season training routine, and obviously, if forced to choose between the two extremes, I'm all about the former . . . but, that doesn't mean these chuckleheads aren't mockworthy.

try watching a little more. i'm kind of hooked on that show. plus, joan collins is guesting on the season showing on bbcamerica! loves it. P.S. ever since watching that posh coming to america special on TV, VB has become my favoritest spice girl. she's pretty hilarious.
I refuse to own a TV here; however, whilst staying in hotels I did watch "WAGs Boutique" a reality competition where, well, yes, the WAGs have rival boutiques. There was one footballer's refusal to admit his relationship with one of the ladies and the producers had to decide whether to let the "WAG" in question continue on the show. They kept her on so I'm guessing there must have been some substantial evidence of a relationship but I was like Meow-I mean-Wow. If it wasn't over before the denial how would you go on after it? A question I should have asked myself many years ago.
Okay, that show sounds FANTASTIC!
I have to say...Footballers Wives BBC is totally trashy TV...the first season especially, perhaps the footballers were a little less whipped then...I dunno, I just know I got totally hooked on the first season and then my love waned a bit..maybe I am just fickle LOL...but I have watched every episode, plus even the more trashy Footballers Wives Overtime. As I am writing this, I wonder, what the hell am I doing with my life.....must go watch some trashy TV to alleviate the existential angst coming on.....
i'm now totally hooked on hotel babylon- which is another trashtastic BBC drama about a luxury hotel and its staff. the stuff that's coming out of the UK these days outdoes the trash in america. it's so midlands! i love it.
They were running the promos for when I left . . . on city buses, no less!
